Aeon Mall sắp xây trung tâm thương mại 4.000 tỷ đồng tại “siêu thủ phủ công nghiệp” hàng đầu miền Bắc
Chiều 9/5, UBND tỉnh Bắc Giang vừa làm việc với Công ty TNHH AeonMall Việt Nam và Công ty CP Đầu tư Newland để bàn về kế hoạch triển khai trung tâm thương mại tại thành phố Bắc Giang.
Dự án có tổng diện tích khoảng 7,7 ha, tổng vốn đầu tư gần 4.000 tỷ đồng, dự kiến xây dựng từ 4 đến 8 tầng với mật độ xây dựng tối đa 60%. Thời gian hoạt động dự án 50 năm.
Đây là dự án hợp tác giữa AeonMall Việt Nam và Newland – doanh nghiệp đã trúng đấu giá quyền sử dụng đất tại thửa đất TMDV-03, khu số 1 thuộc khu đô thị số 11, 12, phân khu số 2 của thành phố.
Trước đó, hai bên từng hợp tác triển khai trung tâm thương mại Aeon Mall Huế – dự án đầu tiên của tập đoàn này tại miền Trung, dự kiến khai trương vào tháng 9/2024, cũng với tổng vốn gần 4.000 tỷ đồng.
Tại cuộc họp, Chủ tịch UBND tỉnh Bắc Giang Nguyễn Việt Oanh cho biết hai tỉnh Bắc Giang và Bắc Ninh đang trong lộ trình sáp nhập. Tỉnh mới sẽ có quy mô kinh tế đứng thứ 5 cả nước, với 33 khu công nghiệp và trung tâm hành chính dự kiến đặt tại TP Bắc Giang. Vị trí dự án nằm ở khu vực trung tâm thành phố, gần các khu công nghiệp đông dân cư, được kỳ vọng sẽ tạo sức hút lớn cho hoạt động thương mại – dịch vụ.
Lãnh đạo tỉnh đề nghị AeonMall Việt Nam đẩy nhanh quá trình triển khai, sớm đưa dự án vào khai thác. Phía nhà đầu tư cũng cam kết sẽ rút ngắn tối đa tiến độ thi công, đồng thời đề xuất tỉnh hỗ trợ các thủ tục như cấp điện, thẩm định thiết kế và xây dựng.
Theo báo cáo tài chính năm 2024, AeonMall ghi nhận lợi nhuận tăng 8,6% lên 4,23 tỷ yen (tương đương gần 777 tỷ đồng), tức bình quân hơn 2,1 tỷ đồng mỗi ngày tại thị trường Việt Nam. Kết quả này giúp Việt Nam là thị trường lớn thứ ba của Aeon Mall, sau Nhật Bản và Trung Quốc.
Tại Việt Nam, Aeon Mall Việt Nam đang vận hành 8 trung tâm thương mại tại Việt Nam với tổng diện tích sàn cho thuê đạt 462.000 m².
