Tại Đại hội đồng Cổ đông thường niên của Công ty Cổ phần Tập đoàn Xây dựng Hòa Bình (UPCoM: HBC) diễn ra mới đây, trước câu hỏi của cổ đông liên quan đến việc phát triển thị trường nước ngoài, ông Nguyễn Kinh Luân, Phó Tổng Giám đốc phụ trách thị trường nước ngoài của Hòa Bình cho biết, trong những năm vừa qua, HBC vẫn tập trung phát triển các thị trường như Úc, Mỹ, thị trường Đông Nam Á như Campuchia và một số nước ở Đông Phi.
Năm 2024, Tập đoàn Hòa Bình tiếp tục thực hiện việc cung cấp dịch vụ quản lý dự án và dịch vụ cung ứng vật liệu xây dựng quốc tế cho thị trường Mỹ. Tập đoàn đang thương thảo với các đối tác ở California (Mỹ) để tiến tới thỏa thuận liên danh trong năm 2025.
“Đối tác của chúng tôi ở tại Mỹ có những dự án rất lớn. Hi vọng năm 2025 khi đạt được thỏa thuận liên doanh, chúng tôi sẽ có những hợp đồng để cả hai bên cùng thực hiện. Hòa Bình sẽ mang chuyên gia về tổng thầu xây dựng ở Việt Nam có thể liên doanh với các đối tác Mỹ để thực hiện các dự án lớn trên đất Mỹ”, ông Luân nói.
Vị này cho biết thêm, tương tự tại thị trường Úc, Hòa Bình cũng đang đi những bước tương tự. Năm ngoái, Hòa Bình trúng thầu 4 dự án nhà ở xã hội cho lực lượng cảnh sát ở tại Kenya (châu Phi), 70 triệu USD cho khoảng 3500 căn. “Chúng tôi đang thương thảo với Cục Nhà ở và Phát triển đô thị của Kenya cho các hợp đồng sắp tới”, ông Luân tiết lộ.
Còn tại Campuchia, ông Luân cho biết năm qua, Tập đoàn Hòa Bình cũng làm việc khá hiệu quả với Chính phủ và một số nhà đầu tư, nhà thầu cho một số các dự án về hạ tầng và một số các dự án về dân dụng.
“Trong năm 2025 chúng tôi cũng đang có những ký kết và có một số chiến lược phát triển mạnh ở thị trường Campuchia nói riêng và thị trường Đông Nam Á nói chung”, ông Luân nhấn mạnh.
Chia sẻ thêm, ông Lê Viết Hải, Chủ tịch Xây dựng Hòa Bình đánh giá triển vọng để phát triển thị trường trong nước cũng rất lớn, tuy nhiên, hiệu quả về lợi nhuận, về kinh doanh không cao vì tính cạnh tranh khốc liệt và biên độ lợi nhuận còn thấp. Tuy nhiên, Hòa Bình vẫn xác định phải trụ vững thị trường ở trong nước để đào tạo, duy trì nguồn nhân lực cho thị trường nước ngoài, mục tiêu vẫn là phát triển thị trường quốc tế.
Bởi những dự án nước ngoài HBC đang nghiên cứu có biên lợi nhuận gộp 10-20% và nếu liên doanh được các doanh nghiệp địa phương, tỷ lệ trên còn cao hơn. Trong nhiều năm qua, Hòa Bình đã kết nối với rất nhiều đối tác tiềm năng và sự chuẩn bị cho thị trường quốc tế hiện chin muồi. Đó là lý do công ty dự kiến chào bán cổ phiếu riêng lẻ với tối đa 347 triệu cổ phiếu vì cần lượng vốn lớn để tiến mạnh ra quốc tế.
“Dù khó khăn thì Hòa Bình vẫn tiếp tục tiến hành các bước chuẩn bị để phát triển thị trường nước ngoài. Bởi thị trường nước ngoài trong những năm gần đây vẫn tăng trưởng, quy mô thị trường xây dựng nước ngoài hiện nay lên đến trên 15.000 tỷ USD, trong khi ở Việt Nam thì năm vừa rồi chỉ có 36 tỷ USD. Đóng góp của ngành xây dựng cho GDP thì chỉ bằng 0,25% so với thị trường quốc tế”, ông Hải cho biết.
Năm 2024, Hòa Bình đạt doanh thu thuần 6.421 tỷ đồng, thấp hơn nhiều so với kế hoạch và giảm 15% so với năm 2023, tuy nhiên, lợi nhuận sau thuế lên đến 959 tỷ đồng, vượt đỉnh năm 2017. Vốn chủ sở hữu tăng từ 93 tỷ đồng lên 1.748 tỷ đồng, gấp 18 lần so với đầu năm.
Từ tháng 11/2024 tới nay, Hòa Bình bắt đầu khởi sắc với việc trúng thầu 14 dự án, tổng giá trị hơn 8.500 tỷ đồng.
Năm 2025, Hòa Bình đặt mục tiêu doanh thu 9.000 tỷ đồng và lợi nhuận sau thuế 360 tỷ đồng. Công ty cũng sẽ chào bán cổ phiếu riêng lẻ với tối đa 347 triệu cổ phiếu, tổng giá trị dự kiến 3.470 tỷ đồng.
