Thủ tướng Phạm Minh Chính: Xóa nhà tạm, nhà dột nát trên cả nước trong năm 2025
Thủ tướng kêu gọi cả nước chung tay, “ai có gì góp nấy” để xây dựng, sửa chữa 170,000 căn nhà dột nát cho các hộ nghèo, cận nghèo đến năm 2025.

Ngày 13/04/2024, sau lễ phát động phong trào cả nước chung tay xóa nhà tạm, dột nát tại huyện Đà Bắc, tỉnh Hòa Bình, Thủ tướng Phạm Minh Chính đã dự khởi công xây nhà mới cho một số hộ gia đình có hoàn cảnh khó khăn.
Theo Thủ tướng, Việt Nam đã “trở thành một hình mẫu” khi sớm hoàn thành mục tiêu thiên niên kỷ của Liên Hợp Quốc về xóa đói, giảm nghèo. Bằng việc áp dụng nhiều chủ trương, chính sách, hàng chục triệu gia đình đã thoát nghèo, có cuộc sống trung bình, khá.
Theo rà soát của các địa phương, có 315,000 hộ cần hỗ trợ về nhà ở và chính quyền các cấp đang triển khai hỗ trợ 145,000 hộ đến hết năm 2025. Như vậy còn khoảng 170,000 hộ nghèo, cận nghèo chưa được hỗ trợ và đang phải sống trong nhà tạm, dột nát. Trong đó, nhiều gia đình còn thiếu hạ tầng thiết yếu, dịch vụ xã hội cơ bản như điện, nước sạch, y tế, giáo dục. Do vậy, người đứng đầu Chính phủ kêu gọi, vận động người dân, doanh nghiệp “ai có gì góp nấy, có công góp công, có của góp của’, từ đó tạo thành phong trào trên cả nước xây nhà cho các hộ này từ nay đến hết năm 2025.
Thủ tướng Phạm Minh Chính cho rằng cần đa dạng hoá huy động nguồn lực. Trung ương sẽ dành nguồn vốn ngân sách theo chương trình hỗ trợ về nhà ở cho người dân nhưng các bộ ngành, địa phương cần phân bổ đủ vốn theo kế hoạch.
Hưởng ứng lời kêu gọi của Thủ tướng, các doanh nghiệp đã ủng hộ 337 tỷ đồng. Thủ tướng và Chủ tịch Ủy ban Trung ương MTTQ Việt Nam đã trao kinh phí hỗ trợ cho tỉnh Hòa Bình, Lai Châu, Sơn La, Lào Cai, Yên Bái, mỗi tỉnh 10 tỷ đồng.
Từ năm 2011 đến nay, ngân sách Nhà nước và xã hội hóa đã hỗ trợ xây dựng, sửa chữa nhà ở cho 820,000 gia đình người có công, hộ nghèo trên cả nước. MTTQ Việt Nam các cấp đã hỗ trợ xây dựng nhà ở đại đoàn kết cho 670,000 hộ nghèo hoặc hoàn cảnh khó khăn.
